About Jena Comeault

Experience & approach

Jena holds a master’s degree in counselling psychology and a Bachelor of Elementary Education with a psychology minor. Her combined counselling and education experience gives her a practical understanding of emotional, behavioural, developmental and learning needs.

During her school-counselling practicum, Jena supported crisis management, client assessment, case conceptualization, goal setting and career counselling. She drew from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Narrative Therapy while adapting care to each client.

Her teaching and community-support experience includes special education, early intervention, individualized program planning and close collaboration with parents, educational assistants, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and other community professionals. She creates a safe, inclusive and collaborative environment where clients can build resilience and practical strategies.
