Catherine is a registered social worker who has graduated with a master in clinical social work practice with specific education and subsequent training in trauma. Catherine brings over 15 years of professional experience working in various cultural communities, medical and mental health settings and brings a keen understanding to life issues such as stress/burn out, relationship difficulties/dysfunction, single parenting, youth and adult addictions recovery as well as dementia/caregiver stress and most recently, has been working with active military members with interventions to support and treat their mental health.
Catherine’s approach is one of walking along side what you may be facing or trying to manage and to provide the space to gain insight, skills and strategies that can bring relief and hope to a situation. Evidenced based treatments for anxiety, depression, insomnia, anger as well as for grief, moral injury and symptoms of post traumatic stress are decided upon collaboratively with you.
Catherine loves to share, educate and work with your strengths and values to help you arrive at your goals-at times any of the above can become clearer during therapy.

Availability & Location
Catherine is accepting new clients in Stony Plain (7 Boulder Blvd) on Saturdays. She is also taking new clients in Edmonton (12547 129th Street) on Mondays. Please be aware the Edmonton location is not suitable for those with mobility issues due to stairs.
