Kim has been supporting families for over 25 years. She uses a mix of traditional talk therapy as well as a variety of experiential approaches such as animal and play therapies. Catherine Maxwell-Day – Registered Master of Social Work
Catherine has been working in clinical, community, and cultural settings for 15 years. Catherine will walk alongside clients struggling with addiction, relationship and parenting challenges, First Responders, caregiver stress and issues related to aging. She is also very well versed in evidence based strategies related to sleep, trauma, PTSD, depression and anxiety.

Cheryl Waite – Registered Clinical Social Worker
Cheryl has worked with children, families, women, and military personal for over 20 years. She is passionate about her work with mental health, domestic violence, trauma recovery and supporting First Responders. Cheryl enjoys bringing her therapy dog, Doug, into sessions and using him to help relate to individuals and children. She also uses Doug to help support her in treatment of individuals stress and anxiety. Cheryl is focused on health and recovery and makes use of a variety of practical approaches to help people move forward.

David Buhr – Registered Psychologist
David has been working in Private Practice for almost a decade and has spent 20 years working with youth and families through Children’s Services related programs. David specializes in various types of conflict including anger management, co-parenting, divorce mediation, and couple’s counselling. He also has extensive experience working in Addictions. He focuses on supporting people to manage conflict and boundaries while understanding the use and purpose of negative emotions such as anger, fear, sadness, and guilt.

Doug is a Certified Therapy Animal that has been registered and trained through MSAR and Courageous Companions. He is currently certified for public access and will be tested within the next few months for his level 2 certification. He is trained in emotion interruption and deep pressure therapy.
