Facilitated by Cheryl Waite, RCSW and Lindsay Hildebrand, MA Counselling Student Intern (facilitators may change without notice).
CBT-M is short for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy with Mindfulness. CBT is recommended to be the first-line treatment for most mental health concerns. CBT-M focuses on helping people learn new skills for managing issues such as anxiety and depression, sleep problems, anger management and relationship problems, by exploring the interaction of our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
The classes will include both information and experiential learning. Homework will be assigned each week.
